I’m a type 1 diabetic, so I’m insulin-dependent.
A good way to counteract diabetes is to be active. UP is a nice, self-satisfying device that empowers me to get out and do the things that I need to do to stay well.
I’m training for the New York City Marathon, but I have ankle and knee issues.
The biggest impact the UP MOVE has made on my life has been the encouragement to run more and sleep better—and I feel a lot healthier as a result.
I need to train at a certain level to stay fit and work out at the level I want.
Now, instead of walking into the climbing gym saying, “What am I going to do today?,” I have a plan for which workouts I’m going to do; using spreadsheets and the UP3 makes it easier to accomplish what I want.
