#StyleUP with OPI and Jawbone

Industrial designer Yves Behar put it best when he said in his blog post last week, “…the marriage of tech and fashion shouldn’t look like tech or fashion, but something new, something inspired and unique—something you would love to wear.” I love all of my UP bands for exactly that reason; they are something I love to wear because they hit the sweet spot between fashion and tech. And yes, I have multiple bands which I switch out to match my outfits and mood.

To celebrate the launch of our new designs and colors of UP2 and UP3, I wanted to put together a group of partners which emphasized the marriage of fashion and tech. As the world’s leading salon nail lacquer brand (and the company that has made women all over the world be able to recognize colors like Big Apple Red and Lincoln Park After Dark), OPI was the perfect fit to help UP wearers truly #StyleUP.

We worked with our friends at OPI to match the 10 new colors of UP2 and UP3 to OPI’s extensive library of colors, a project that resulted in the matchy-matchy heaven you see featured on this blog post. OPI even helped us kick off New York Fashion Week at our #StyleUP event by providing guests with complimentary manis. Guests could select from colors, and custom nail art, made to match or compliment their new UP bands.
