Super Bowl Foods - The Jawbone Blog

Super Bowl Foods

What Super Bowl foods make the game special? Barack Obama admitted last week to being a “guac fanatic,” even preferring it over wings. But does the UP community share our Commander-in-chief’s gameday snack preferences?

Here’s a quick bite of data: UP wearers in the United States consumed 140% more nachos, 163% more guacamole, and 165% more chili yesterday than they do on a normal day. But, the undisputed king of Super Bowl foods is the Buffalo wing: UP wearers consumed nearly 4.7x more than normal.

UP wearers also logged 49% more beer and 56% more pizza.

UP by Jawbone’s entirely new food-tracking interface helps you simply log food and water, quickly assess the healthiness of foods, and easily track progress toward your target weight. My colleagues Laura Borel and Emi Nomura have done incredible work making it easier than ever using UP by Jawbone to track your food using tools powered by state-of-the-art data science.
