Senior Document Control Specialist
Jawbone is seeking a Senior Product Configuration/Document Control Specialist to join our team to ensure integrity of our product documentation from product conception through End of Life.

Responsibilities: Assist with BOM creation and PLM in support of Jawbone device management.

Duties include:
•Create individual parts as needed to support component-level up to SKU-level releases and builds
•Work with PM to create required BOM structures and determine additional specifications needed for correct product coding and release  
•Audit manufacturing-level parts and drawings to ensure they match Item Master 
•Address discrepancies with the appropriate EE/EPM and ensure Jawbone and Contract Manufacture data match. 
•Assist in deviating SKU/BOMs at distribution centers worldwide to support shipments as needed
•Assist users in the proper usage of the PLM systems to review/approve changes, item number assignments, and other related documents and processes.
•Assist users in associated aspects of document control departmental processes, as required.
•Originate and write changes/deviations and analyze their impact on Operations
•Support shared duties and activities, such a supplier management and NDA assurance

Skills Requirements:
•Excellent written, oral communication, analytical and organizational skills 
•Work independently and thrive in a fast paced environment
•Strong interpersonal skills to interact at multiple levels across the organization.
•Logical problem solver.  
•Ability to manage multiple programs efficiently

•3-5 years in the use of electronic document/records management systems such as Arena, ideally in Consumer Electronics.
•Must be detail oriented – accuracy and thoroughness in the execution of the job responsibilities is critical.
•Possess excellent time management skills, be well organized 
•Fluent in English, working knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
•Follow company standards, policies and procedures for document control to ensure compliance and audit expectations.
•Ensure compliance with document management standards and procedures including adherence to contractual document numbering practices, and electronic repository structure.
