1st & 2nd Gen UP Band:

Jawbone UP:

The serial number of your UP band is located on the bottom of the original store packaging.

You can also locate your serial number within the UP app. Here you will also find information on the version of your band’s firmware.

There are two ways to find your serial number:

  1. Original Packaging
  2. Located on bottom of original store packaging

  3. UP App

  4. Idle alert Idle alert
    1. Access the right navigation menu from the UP app homescreen.
    2. Tap on the name of your band.
    3. You will see a summary with your band information, including the serial number

ERA By Jawbone

ERA (Headset)

The serial number begins with "W" and consists of 11 digits. Ex. WXXXXXXXXXXX

There are two ways to find your serial number:

  1. Original Packaging
  2. The serial number can be found on the back of the packaging right above the UPC code. 

  3. Headset

  4. ERA Serial Number

    The serial number can be found on the speaker cap as shown.

Charging Case

The serial number begins with "JC02" and consists of 13 digits. Ex. JC02XXXXXXXXXXXXX

The 15 character serial number is located on the underside of the MINI JAMBOX.

Jawbone ERA:

The 10 character serial number is etched on the side of the barrel, as picture below. To find it, you must remove the rubber earbud from the barrel.

The 10 character serial number is etched on the side of the barrel, as picture below. To find it, you must remove the rubber earbud from the barrel. For help with removing the earbud from the ear barrel, read this article.

The serial number is the six-character alphanumeric code imprinted on the ear barrel. To find it, you must first remove the earbud from the ear barrel. For help with removing the earbud from the ear barrel, read this article.

The example pictured below is serial number 8E05BB.

The four-letter serial number is located on the underside of the Noise Shield Button.

The serial number is the six-character alphanumeric code above the CE symbol on the Car Charger.

The example pictured below is serial number 8G28Ax.
