UP is made of durable spring steel, and encased in durable, non-latex, medical-grade hypoallergenic TPU rubber. UP is rain, splash, sweat, and shower-resistant. Despite this tough construction, UP contains sophisticated technology, so it’s best to treat the band with care. The band should not be submerged in water, and it’s best to keep it away from extreme hot or cold.
Get to know the UP band:
- Button – The button switches UP between modes and is composed of zinc alloy with chrome nickel plating.
- Status Lights – The Sun and Moon signal which mode the band is in.
- Cap – A removable cap covers the sync plug used to transfer data between the band and the app.
UP is designed to be worn all the time. To put it on, bend the band just enough to slip it over your fingers and hand. Wearing the band on the non-dominant hand will deliver the most accurate results. To remove the band, gently open it enough to let it slip off. It’s best not to twist, stretch, or unwind the band.
To clean light dirt or residue off the UP band, wet a cloth or cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol, Expo cleaner, or an alcohol-based sanitizer and gently rub it on the outside of the band. Once the band is cleaned, dry it with a clean towel or cloth. Do not submerge the band in these chemicals.
