Updating Your App and Band

In order to enjoy the most recent UP® features, follow these steps:

1) Make sure you have the latest version of the UP App. 

2) Update your band's firmware 

Note: Your firmware may not be available for up to 1 day after updating the UP App.


Updating Your App


iOS


Step 1

For iOS devices, visit the iTunes App Store

If the app is not up to date, the button will read UPDATE and must be tapped to download the latest app.

If the app is already up to date, the button will read OPEN. 


Step 2

Once the app is updated, tap OPEN to launch the latest version of the app. 
 

Android

 

Step 1

For Android devices, visit the Google Play store.

If the app is not up to date, tap the UPDATE button.

If the app is already up to date, the button will read OPEN.

Updating Your Band

Firmware is software for your band that can be updated to enable new features as they become available. When you have a firmware update available for your band, a download arrow will appear on your home screen.

Important note: After updating your app, the blue download arrow may take up to 1 day to appear.


Step 1

Tap the blue download arrow in the upper right hand corner of the UP App’s home screen.


Step 2

Tap the blue download arrow again. 


Step 3

On the tracker info screen, tap the blue download arrow once more.


Step 4

A dialog box will let you know the update is in progress. A checkmark will indicate when the firmware update is complete!
